Our closest detachment is operating out of Eagle
River. We meet every other Wednesday at 1930hrs at the Chugiak American
Legion. Our next meeting is this Wednesday 12/17. The meetings are pretty
informal and last about an hour, after which we just generally hang out,
socialize and have some good ol' BROTHERHOOD.
You're welcome to come hang out with us. For more info contact "Blitz"

Looking good fellas!
A ride from Sturgis to Alaska sounds great. What are the roads like????? Any
problems with tires
or gas to watch for? What about coming up earlyer like in early
July?
Thanks for the help. Mule
They're all good. Cassiar hwy tends to be dicey at
times..great at others. Great Falls-Edmonton-Dawson Creek-ALASKA is
generally in much better shape than most folks expect. Check out http://themilepost.com

Just checking out your page and saw something to do with
some vets. I read through the names; But i didn't see one name James Leroy
Bondsteel: Staff Sergeant ,U.S. Army, Co.A, 2d Bat., 2dInf., 1st Inf. Div.
24May1969. Congresional Medal Of Honor Recipient.
WHY.
Yeah I guess you could say this web site does have "something
to do with some vets".
S/Sgt. Bondsteel is not listed as one of the 57
Alaskans who
never returned from Vietnam because he did not
die as a result of injuries sustained during the war. S/Sgt. Bondsteel
died in an automobile accident here in Alaska several years after the
war. Tragically, six
more names were recently added to the Wall.
These men all died as a result of injuries sustained during the war. The Viet
Nam War keeps taking it's toll........ VFFV
By the way, to date there are four Congressional Medal of Honor
Recipients from Alaska.

My Brothers in Arms, I find your web site filled with the vestages of duty, honor, and courage of the real Vietnam Veteran. That's what it's all about Bro...to
Honor and Remember those who went before us, and to never forget those left
behind. As for Hollywood....SCREW 'EM. Nuthin' but a buncha socialist
elitists in it for controversy and publicity. Were it not for
gettin' their pretty faces on camera they wouldn't give a dead rat's ass about the
war or the "poor duped soldier" fighting the "rich man's"
