Last week Alaska had two Air Force NCO'S killed in Iraq. Both were staitioned at Elmendorf, AFB, but Ssgt Brian McElroy was buried in Texas. Those Alaskans that went to the Services in Texas were thrilled to witness a show of Brotherhood that few outside the Motorcycle community ever get a chance to see & be part of!!! They brought back tales of this group of Biker's that escorted Brian's final ride, & posted themselves as Sentinel's on the ridge overlooking the Service. 50-100 they couldn't tell because their eye's were filled with tears.
I want to thank the Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club of Texas, especially, San Antonio, of proving Brotherhood is everything we have been saying it is. You Brother's have done your Club proud, THANKS!!!

Just finished browsing your website and was quite impressed
{but not surprised} by all you do helping
Alaskan Vets and keeping the POW--MIA Flag flying. Before moving here 11 years
ago I used to make
the Vet's All Clubs Welcome Invitational in Oklahoma run with the War Eagles out
of Texas to benefit
Vet Health Services in OK. I am a Viet Nam Era vet and was used for secret
chemical warfare testing in
San Diego Naval Hospital in the Fall of 1971. I actually have the ear of a
Senator and help in that quarter
and the support of the entire staff in Fairbanks VA where I am being treated for
heart stuff and PTSD
which can only officially be called Anxiety-not otherwise specified by my shrink
because the program
was secret and therefore evidence of the trauma is also. Just last year the VA
was enjoined to seek
out personally all vets used in secret chemical warfare testing during WW11 and
give them the help,
recognition, and appreciation they deserve. Through unrelenting efforts these

You are everything wronge with the United States. Your
insanely hateful website has done nothing
to further a cause or do ANY good. I am glad the scum of society has
chosen to act out in virtual
reality where it will never matter. I've never been to Alaska, but I hope your
not all psycopaths.
Have a really great day!

Hey Bros,
just thought I would drop a line to say hi and let you know
that I'm doing OK.
We lost four great Alaskans the other day. They were not from my unit, but
I knew them. The pilot was one of the best around, and the PFC was the
son of a captain I worked with on Ft. Richardson. Please keep them and
their families in your prayers for me.

Are any of the brothers making "The Run For The Wall " this year? I'm going, but will be staging my arrival in Ontario. I'll be shipping the bike to Seattle, driving it to S.D., Ca . Then flying back to SD just before the "Run". Hope to see fellow Alaska vets on the ride ---- Dobbie, USN HAL-3, SEAFLOAT RVN doorgunner 70/71
